Microschool District Summit
This event was hosted at the Castle in Maryland run by the Good Knight Child Empowerment Network.
It brought together these microschools, their students, and their families.
Time was spent meeting and collaborating with members that we had only seen on Zoom.
As part of the event we took time to learn about the Castle and the work of the Good Knight Child Empowerment Network.
As a way to give back to the Good Knight Child Empowerment Network for the use of their space, each school worked on shields to be added to the grounds. Each shield represented various cultures and will be part of a world walking path.
As we were in Maryland time was allotted to visit Washington D.C.
As a memento of our time together all everyone in attendance tie-dyed a shirt.
It was a wonderful experience that we all look forward to repeating with even more microschools joining out ranks.
